Pathogen Detection Systems to present at CBWA Annual Convention and Trade Show
For Immediate Release
KINGSTON, ON – Pathogen Detection Systems, Inc. (PDS), a developer of water-borne bacteria detection technologies, will present a workshop describing new technologies for rapid, convenient testing at the Canadian Bottled Water Association Annual Conference and Trade Show, April 5 to 7 in Toronto, Ontario. The workshop titled "Emerging Technologies to Watch” will be presented by Dr. Peter Gallant, President and CEO of PDS.
Dr. Gallant’s workshop will describe a number of new technologies including the patent pending technology being utilized in PDS’s Desktop Testing Unit. The Desktop Testing Unit (DTU) provides industry-leading reliability for E.coli and Total Coliforms testing in a convenient desktop package that does not require a lab. The DTU has unprecedented ease of use, has up to an 80% decrease in time-to-result, all at a lower per-test cost.
The annual conference, the theme of which is “Leading Through Times of Change”, brings together professionals and experts from the bottled water industry to engage in discussions and workshops in areas of common interest. The program will include high quality sessions related to operations, regulatory environment, and technology. PDS will exhibit its Desktop Testing Unit in Booth 308.
Pathogen Detection Systems, Inc. develops advanced, on-site bacteriological monitoring systems to monitor the bacteriological quality of water systems, including drinking water, product quality assurance, wastewater, and recreational water applications.
