PDS Board Member Max Christie Receives Prestigious Award from the Ontario Municipal Water Association

KINGSTON, ON - Pathogen Detection Systems, Inc. (PDS) Director Max Christie has once again been honoured by the Ontario Municipal Water Association (OMWA) for his contribution and leadership in the Association and his role in ensuring the continued supply of safe, clean water to municipal water consumers in Canada and abroad.
Mr. Christie received the Don Black award at the annual conference of the Ontario Water Works Association held this week in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Named after past OMWA director Donald J. Black, the award was established in 2000 to recognize the contribution of people or public water authorities that have demonstrated outstanding and dedicated service in support of the principles of the Ontario Municipal Water Association. He previously received the OMWA's Award of Exceptional Merit in 1997, and is presently involved in a number of water quality initiatives and is presently responsible for the operation of several water treatment plants in Eastern Ontario.
